Hardware describes the physical components of a machine bsp. a computer. The concept of hardware was the first time in conjunction with PC's and there is also used most frequently.

A machine or system hardware consists of several components. A hardware can perform many different functions ranging from the power supply to storage of data on hard disks.
In a hardware is assigned a specific task. To save disk data while providing the necessary memory and computer processor power and graphics card brings to the picture on the screen. The counterpart to the hardware, the software, because only on the hardware of a hard drive and a software program can be installed without the right software, a computer or even a modern coffee machine does not know what to do.
