The craft comprises many different activities. These are made for example to order products or services. The craft regulations governing the trade in Germany. Craftsmen who were on the run Bönhase were called, and those who long preferred by rural areas, called Stöer. There were also free master, which exerted a special activity, these were so-called exemptions. One of these was a free master Johannes Gutenberg.
In the 18 Century sat down gradually by the freedom of trade in Europe. Thus, every citizen had the right to exercise a trade of his choice.
